FABRIC COMPOSITION
Our fabrics are made up of:
- 95% bamboo – A hypoallergenic material that is soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin.
- 5% elastane – We aim to use the minimum amount of elastane to ensure the garments are elastic and comfortably adapt to your curves without compromising the softness of the fabric.
We use deadstock from our Portuguese manufacturer, minimizing waste while maintaining high-quality standards.
CARE
Our garments can be machine washed, preferably on a delicate cycle and without fabric softener, at a maximum temperature of 30ºC.
To avoid pilling and extend the life and appearance of the fabrics, it is recommended to wash them inside out.
To dry, you can either lay the garment flat or place it on a thicker hanger or another fabric to prevent marks. If marks appear, they will disappear with ironing.
For a quicker and more efficient ironing process, using a steamer is the best option to avoid shine.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Proximity Production - At YRI Concept all production takes place in northern Portugal, the nearest location to our office in Paris and our warehouse in Madrid. Our manufacturer has many years of experience in the industry, and the factory is a family-run business, mainly managed by women. We work closely with them and as we are slow fashion we respect their timelines and adapt to their workload.
Limited Editions - Our collections are produced in limited quantities to minimize waste and overstocking. This helps us maintain a sustainable fashion model, focusing on quality over quantity.
Quality fabrics - The fabrics we use are deadstocks from our Portuguese manufacturer or NONA Source Paris. We aim to use natural fabrics with compositions of 100%, as these are easily recyclable. However, in specific cases, such as the fabrics for our sets that need to be elastic, we choose a single fiber like bamboo, Tencel, or micromodal, combined with no more than 5-10% elastane.
Design for Comfort - Designed with versatility and comfort in mind, our garments feature minimal seams, making them as comfortable as they are functional. Each piece is created to provide everyday comfort, durability, and the perfect fit, without excess.
